I use disposable Stiletto blade needles, sterile equipment, and only high-quality, body-safe jewellery suitable for proper healing. I don't rush appointments. I don't compromise on safety. And I won't perform a piercing if I believe it won't heal well.
Every piercing is done with long-term results in mind — not just how it looks on the day.

A new piercing is a collaboration between my expertise and your body's ability to repair itself. Follow this guide and your piercing will thank you for it.
Your body does its best repair work while you sleep. Prioritising 7–9 hours of rest gives your immune system the energy it needs to heal the piercing site.
Clean water and a nutrient-rich diet (high in Vitamin C and Zinc) provide the building blocks for new tissue. Think of it as "feeding" your piercing.
High stress produces cortisol, which can slow down your inflammatory response and delay healing. Stay calm, be patient with your body, and enjoy the process.
In the early days, limit excessive caffeine and alcohol — these can increase swelling and prolong the initial bleeding phase.
Apply these rules to every piercing for the best results.
Never touch, twist, or turn your jewellery. This disrupts the healing tissue and is one of the most common causes of complications.
Do not apply pressure to the area. Avoid sleeping on your piercing — I strongly recommend using a Piercing Pillow for ear piercings.
Always wash your hands thoroughly before starting your aftercare routine. No exceptions.
Use a sterile saline solution (NeilMed is excellent) to rinse the area. Then use a saline-soaked cotton bud to gently remove any crusting or residue.
Ensure the skin around the piercing is kept dry after cleaning. Pat gently with a clean paper towel — never a cloth towel.
Specific steps for the first 6 weeks and beyond.
Avoid submerging the piercing in water — baths, pools, hot tubs — for the first 6 weeks. Showers are fine.
Keep makeup, lotions, hair products, and spray tans away from the piercing area at all times during healing.
Do not use harsh cleaning products, alcohols, or ointments. Sterile saline only.
Refrain from changing jewellery too soon. Contact me to discuss "downsizing" your post once initial swelling has subsided.
For lip, labret, and tongue piercings.
Follow the General Aftercare steps using sterile saline on the skin side. Keep the area dry.
Rinse with an alcohol-free mouthwash or sterile saline after every meal and before bed.
Sucking on clean ice or drinking cold water helps reduce swelling in the first 3–5 days.
Avoid spicy, salty, or acidic foods for the first week. Take small bites to avoid catching the jewellery.
Use a new, soft-bristled toothbrush and be extra gentle near the piercing.
Avoid smoking and alcohol for the first 2 weeks to prevent irritation and slow healing.
Minor swelling, localised redness, or a small amount of clear/pale-yellow discharge (lymph) is normal for the first few weeks. Here's what to watch for beyond that.
A small raised bump is usually irritation, not infection. Usually caused by sleeping on the piercing, touching it, or jewellery that needs downsizing. Stick to your saline routine and check in with me.
If the jewellery looks like it's sinking into the skin, contact me immediately. You may need a longer post to allow swelling to subside safely.
Intense heat, radiating redness, thick green/grey discharge, or feeling feverish. Do not remove the jewellery — contact me or your GP immediately. Removing jewellery can trap the infection inside.
Itchy, dry, or flaky skin? Since I only use implant-grade titanium and 14k gold, metal allergies are extremely rare. This is usually a reaction to a cleaning or hair product — not the jewellery.
If you're not sure whether what you're seeing is normal — don't guess. Fill in the or send me a message on Instagram. I'm here to help you through the whole healing process.
